I think it's an awesome look. Liked the whole cloth helmet from WW2, oxygen mask and blue sunglasses with the goggles on his head.

Watching this made me think what the world of footage would be like if Robin Olds, "Pappy" Boyington, Robert S. Johnson, Gunter Rall and so many others, if they had GoPros when they went out for a mission.

Ah! Thanks......I didn't realize it was that plane (wasn't it Lefty Gardner's?).

You're right, though.....I was going by the cowl and oil-coolers.

Somewhere buried in a box I have a picture of Lefty Gardner's airplane as it blew an engine. I was in the back of a B25 taking pictures and he was coming up behind on our right. He went back to land.

Love that airplane.
