Evening flight through the San Juan islands
Just a quick little video from a recent flight through the islands. Took my mom and sister out to Friday Harbor for a belated mothers day dinner while I was on a short break from school.
I don't think I have been up flying in the area under such clear conditions before. Really lucked out, considering the bleak forecast over the past week.

I miss that area. After my grandfather retired from Continental, he bought a place in San Juan, within walking distance of the airport. His friend would build Kit Fox's and sell them at airshows, enjoyed seeing the area from his airplanes.

Thanks guys! I love flying (and living) in that area. I miss it now to be sure.
Awesome! Ever since I discovered Andy Mckee on youtube, I've been trying to get people to listen to him. Watch some of his videos, the way he plays a guitar is simply magic.

Cool video! Made me homesick. Grew up in BLI, and even flew to FHR for prom back in '98. Only 30+ more years of slaving away at UAL and I hope to retire out there with whatever float C-185 is left on this planet and fish all day.
