Excellent, Tech, absolutely first rate. The details are amazing - white caps, wheels just starting to retract. Difficult to top this one.

Lots of patience, good timing, eagle eye.

Just having fun, CRJ, it's a wet, cold and windy day in Seattle.

Probably a collision aviodance manuever that ATC jammed them into. The airplane that was about to be hit just had proof with a pic this time.

According to the info at the bottom of that photo, it was taken at SFO. Looking at it confused me, particularly looking at the background beyond the bay. Did they take off from 19L or 28L? Any of you UAL/SFO guys and gals care to guess? I couldn't figure it out.

Looks like the photographer has a bunch of pictures from somewhere on the top of the terminal building. My guess is this 757 was taking off from 28L/R on in a RH turn out over the bay. . .

Here's another airplane possibly off the same runway: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1017667/M/

That would make sense, and that must be the South San Francisco hill in the background. Thanks!

The Continental one is a bit easier to figure out since you can still see the runway. I like how you can see the pilot in that one, makes you want to wave to him.
