Default GoPro External Camera Mounts...

Been watching videos of Kirby Chambliss with several GoPro cams mounted all over his bird.
Anyone know how he's mounting them on the wings, etc?

Suction cups are advertised good up to 200MPH, but no way those things are hanging on with that G-load!

I've seen it up close and they're held on by the Go-Pro stick-on mounts that use 3M tape. Have one of those mounts on my motorcycle helmet and I can attest to their strength (sticky-ness?) or what ever you wanna call it.

Yeah, those sticky mounts will go through just about anything. Don't underestimate that suction cup either!

A Lima Lima pilot told me they lost 2 of them with the suction cups mounted on their planes. Didn't say where it was mounted...

Those suction cup mounts are very strong. I was blown away at how sturdy they are. The 3M mounts are excellent too.

I got a suction cup mount and returned it because it seemed like it had a ton of play in it. Definitely locks on though.

I've used the sticky mounts up to 230 or so without issues.

The sticky mounts are better. I've personally tested them up to 179 mph on the motorcycle (track use)
