How old is this pic AZ?

Seems to be a Memorial aircraft.
122 being the Squadron and the names of the two aircrew lost in the April 6th, 2011 mishap.
I didn't know 'Beefcake", but 'Eleven' and I were squadronmates in VFA-125 before it was merged into -122.
Really nice kid.

The photo was taken Nov 5; about 7 weeks ago. Sorry to hear of the loss of these aviators. It also explains the pair of callsigns on the other side of the cockpit, so you must be right about the purpose of this aircraft.

What pair of call signs were on the other side of the aircraft?

I am mistaken. There was another hornet from another squadron also there that day that had four callsigns on it. The jet in the photo above said "Eleven" and "Beefcake" on both sides.

Most aircraft will have different names on different sides. Too many pilots in a squadron, not enough airplanes. That is a nice gesture from the Eagles.
