Great shots! The CJ-6 is a cool Warbird. I back seat in a AT-6 with the CAF when I go to airshows with them.

Great shots Glen. Do you have one of the blue CJ-6 on the ramp?

My favorite things of the airshow were the Stearmans and the C-47 "Tico Bell".

So, the Yak engine on the Chinese CJ. Interesting.

It is pretty interesting - one of the guys here had a housai engine with a half M14/ half Housai air compressor... everyone said you can't exchange the parts... he just found out he had it, 500 hours later... still can't figure out how that happened.

There was actually a Pitts with a M14 engine at the fly-in.... very interesting bird.

There is also a conversion for the L-29, with the PW J60 engine - it gives it something like 7000fpm, with a take off roll of around 700ft.
That may not sound like a big deal to some of you... but for an L-29 or L-39 that's a huge improvement.
