But not as ugly as the new Cessna 162

I know, why couldn’t Cessna just revamp the C-150?

The "797" still looks better than the A380 - my nomination for ugliest airplane. Sorry for those of you who get off on the size of the flying crap-pile, I think it is truly one of (if not the) worst looking jetliner out there. I must concede, I have a photographer friend who got a got a great shot of the POS inflight at Oshkosh that made it look fairly good. But sadly, in person (as Borat says), "Not so much..."

Default Eurofighter EF 2000A Typhoon

This Eurofighter Saudi/Royal Air Force can look ugly; especially when its armed up..

bases and take photographs of flybys and low passes.

Cessna started from scratch but since they were making a plane to fit a similar role to the C-150, it took on its form. I just think the low cowl and high window of the 162 make it look kind of weak on power. Not that the C-150 is powerful, but it has a larger cowl to windscreen ratio which gives it the appearance of a big engine. Also, the rear window/tail section of the C-150 looks way better than the C-162.

IMHO - I think the 172's cockpit is among the ugliest (if that were a condition). Those plunger style throttle/mix along with the cabin control... with the truck-like seating posture... those are just kind of ugly to me. Piper's cockpits are a little better, but they just feel cheap for the most part.
