San Francisco/New Lens
My new lens arrived; Nikkor 18-200. I went to SF for a day trip to give it a try. Here are some of the results.

Over all I am very pleased with the lens so far. Images are pretty sharp and there seems to be no trouble with chromabs/color fringing. AF is also very fast and accurate.
My only gripes is that there is noticeable barrel distortion at the wide end, though its only noticeable if you have straight vertical lines (like buildings/poles) on the outer areas of the frame. There is also some visible light fall off in the corners when shooting in the tele range, but its generally not visible if you're not shooting a solid color/texture.
This lens will probably never come off my camera while I'm out traveling. I can cover with it anything I need and get perfectly fine results. Me likey.
