I have a lot of time in that airplane. Heck that might even be me flying. I was one of the few guys that wore a hat...

do you know what it was doing there? I thought the navy wasnt flying them anymore, guess i was wrong.

Yeah, they fly out of Ft Worth Naval Air Station. Usually they shoot a few ILS, RNAV, and NDB approaches followed by a few laps in the pattern. Then, they usually pick up the SLUGG5 arrival back to Ft. Worth. They usually drop in every other day.

Wasn't me. The squadron is based at KNFW and probably just doing some training (practice approaches) or if they stopped, to pick up/drop off pax and cargo. The Navy is still flying them and will for years to come. They are sloooowly being replaced by the C-40 (B737-700).
