Default The Goshawk and the Talon

Taken at KIWA today. T-45's and T-38's seem to stop through pretty regularly at KIWA. Brought the camera out this time. The T-45 has a pretty neat sound during start-up. It has a real deep and boomy bass sound that was quite a bit louder than what the engine sounds like once it was at normal idle speed.

And the fence that I unfortunately had to shoot through for the closer shots.....

They just came out of Kingsville

Those guys were on their way to KNJK (NAF El Centro)
They are out here on a 3 week Weapons Detachment.
I'll try to get some pictures to add to your compliment.

There were a couple of T-45s at RDU a few weeks ago. I was surprised at how slow they were after talking to the IPs and students.

The black -38 is out of Beale with the 9th RW flying U-2s.

Somewhat amusing. When I was in -38s this was the Navy trainer. We got called one afternoon to look one over. For some reason they had lost the canopy and wanted to know if there was any additional damages. We saw none. In typical interservice rivalry when we got ready to leave, they waved, gave us the finger to which my IP responded.

Here you go AZFlyer
Your's are much better than mine - but I had to grab these on my cell phone after a flight. Sorry - couldn't find #242 among the planes on the line.

One of mine. Lots of theirs!

These two pictures make it look they have taken over the flight line!

Holy smokes, that is a ton of T-45's. Is that a travel pod I see under some of those T-45's? It doesn't look like a very convenient place to stow your stuff.

Was that camo hornet your ride for the day?

Thanks for sharing, cool stuff!
