The TransAmerica building, the Coit Tower, two stretched out American flags in the evening breeze off the bay and the Pier 39 carousel. Best big city in the USA!

Yes it is Contrails. Tonight I was driving across the Golden Gate Bridge as the full moon was shining over the Bay. The Bay was reflecting the moon as well as the sparkling city lights. I said to myself, "Damn, I love this city" She is a beauty!

It looked like that last night when I was in the city. You might get some nice shots along the Embarcadero at Christmas. The city looks so pretty all lit up. Also the Christmas parade of boats with all of the sailboats with Christmas lights on their masts is a cool sight. Great photography. Maybe you could do a Bay Area calendar or something similar.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. I have yet to be on the Marin Headlands lookout parking lot at night time so I'd like to try a night picture of the bridge sometime and now that it's dark earlier I'll head up to the city when there are some holiday decorations up.

For that, I'd need a new camera. But I did luck out and get a photo I took this spring put on the cover of one U.S. air carrier's calendar which will have ten thousand copies printed. That has been my first significant compensation from this hobby. My current camera's resolution is, however, perfect for postcards. Hmmm...

Do it Contrails. As far as the Parade of lights on the yachts and sailboats, probably best to contact the yacht and sail clubs for that schedule.
