Misc. DC-6 Shots Part 2
#12
I hope you don't mind me posting another cockpit shot in your thread. To show that things haven't changed all that much
The above is one of our "new" fuel haulers that was nearing completion this summer in Fairbanks. Note that my picture is of a C118 and Stretch's picture is of a DC6B. The way to tell is the flap and gear indicators are combined on the C118 and on the DC6B they are separate.
Very cool pictures!

Nope. I missed a lot of opportunities to take pictures, that's for sure. My avatar came from FS9. I got a couple hundred pix of various -8s from there! Your best bet is probably Airliners Net.
Ya, mine too. The Connie was the best prop and the DC-8 the best jet. They were kind of similar in a way. Probably why I liked the -8 so much; reminded my of the Connie. They both flew like big trucks !!
Got any pics of the mighty -8 (like your avatar)?
It's still one of my favorite aircraft...

The ONLY picture I took was that one in the first batch that has a Connie (that I flew) in the background. I got a bunch from FS9, but that doesn't count! Again.....stupid me for not taking more pictures during my career.
There's a few Connie websites with pictures, however.
Do you have any of the Connie?
