They will have to come here, they are the Norman Rockwell and we are the Helmut Newton.
I just like sharing and don't like many of the shots over on the other site, they are technically excellent, but lack the erotic/fetish(for lack of a better term) aspect pilots enjoy. By that I mean that most of those shots aren't made by pilots and most of them don't capture aircraft the way we see them. Most are rather sterile, like product brochures. Whatever floats your artistic boat though.

AGREED. I snapped this:
And thought it was kind of interesting.. it was with a mega-wide angle lens, I was basically under the turbo porter.
To give you another vantage, here's what the base-to-final turn looks like there :
Anyway.. submitted to Airliners. Rejected in favor of perfectly aligned side-on views of 757's. My photos aren't technically excellent, but, mind ya.. Most folks don't see an approach like this every day.
Keep 'em coming, Jungle. It gives me a standard to work toward. Sorry, didn't mind to hijack your thread!

I really like that first one. I have nothing against anet, but it isn't the first place to look for really good aircraft pics unless you want to build a reference library.
