I cant believe Connie put a glass A/I and HSI in....and still that same POS flight director

Are you referring to a dual cue fight director as opposed to a single cue? I love the dual cue, and I flown them both. The primary advantage to the dual cue is that you can use one at a time. Huh? Say again.

In the 737 I routinely fly in pitch hold mode (CWS-P) and LNAV. When flying in pitch hold. the horizontal cue disappears and you are left with only a single cue FD for lateral nav. It works well.

That A/S isn't quite close enough to the barber-pole! Not bad @ Mach .837 if I can read it right.
