A UPS Capt created this very website and personally detroyed Kit Darby's outdated business model with it.

I would take it as severly biased against both the facts of life AND UPS IPA current negotiations.

Kit failed to adapt his product to newer distribution technologies. While this site was a contributing factor in his demise, let’s not embellish history. And let’s be honest, this site kinda sucks, was never anything special or revolutionary. Forums are about the only thing of value for people looking for a job.

Otherwise, I agree the timing of this info is mad sus (highly suspicious). Would not be surprised to learn ups negotiating team commissioned it.

Also, not factoring in profit sharing at the legacies does skew the results quite significantly in UPS’s favor.

IMHO, we should probably be right alongside FX.

I was just quoting what KD said to JS about APC, per JS himself.

Any shine of the fact was JS.

What exactly are the negotiations hoping to accomplish and where can I read about them? I’m interviewing in a few weeks and can’t find anything about them.

you won’t find anything. That’s sort of the point. IPA pilots want to make 2 million per year working 1 hour a month and UPS wants the pilots to work for free 25 hours a day. The result will be a compromise in between several years down the road. Dont bring it up in your interview 😜
