Congrats!!

I don’t recall seeing anyone in the last few years getting lost in the pool as we have seen in the past. My bigger concern would be hiring stats once you’re on board. Being stuck at the bottom at UPS is manageable when you know it’s temporary. Long term, if you don’t live in sdf (or domicile), could be rough. This hiring wave is coming to a close as best we know. Don’t mean to cast a cloud on the moment but definitely something you should be considering.

Good Luck

Yeah, being at the bottom of the totem pole isn't ideal. At least the retirements pick up in the next few years lol

Waves come and go. When you look back 5-15 years from now being on the back of a wave, while possibly tough, you are are the front of the next wave all locked in with all the choices your senority can hold. I was on the back of a hiring wave prior to September 11. Sat on the bottom-ish of the list, made some headway until age 65 and got knocked back hard again with 200 engineers coming back to the left seat. Had I reacted impulsively to the setbacks or not being in a Cinderella position of a wave, life would not be what it is now. Weigh all of your job offers that you have in hand, make the best decision you can, and stick with it. You won't find a better group of guys and gals to enjoy the night sort with :-)

Im extremely excited and hope to be apart of the group soon. It's definitely where I want to be even if it means a few years with a rough schedule. Let's see how it plays out haha

Life's a drag... Some chose nitromethane as their Jet A alternative, no?

No official word yet. It really depends on what the company prognosticates for next year. If they prognosticate growth, we will start hiring after it hits.
