Rumor I heard is another "large" (same size as last one) bid in Nov/Dec.

I would put my app out everywhere that’s taking them right now. If you get any bites, call UPS and politely enquire if they are planning to start you in a class soon so that you can avoid jerking around Delta or whomever. Regardless of the answer, you are better off.

Did you get anything from them?

I’ve heard some people get emails about a successful interview, others get a TBNT email. It’s been radio silence which makes planning a little harder

I got the “successful interview” email and then radio silence.

First year pay is $57.89/hr. Yes, it sucks especially relative to our peers, I sincerely hope that gets addressed in an eventual TA because it benefits UPS at least as much if not more as it does IPA. Guarantee is 75hr/pay period, 13 pay periods in a year or 975/hr annual guarantee...if amortized over 12 months its 81.25hr/mo. Most domestic lines available to junior crewmembers will pay guarantee.

Junior bases are ANC on the whale, SDF/ONT on the 757, and SDF is only domicile for Bus and MD. Most current hiring is ANC 747 and SDF 757. Newhire seniority is based on age.

There is no 401k match, but we do have both a defined benefit pension and a 12% defined contribution...but unfortunately probationary members don't get the 12% DC.
