Makes you wonder what happens to the folks that are still waiting to schedule an interview...

I think the reality at that time was that many highly qualified pilots didn’t think we were as attractive as the legacies. That may shift some with AA stopping hiring, but who knows. Until we get a new contract we won’t be as highly desirable.

Are the retirement numbers in the UPS profile on this website accurate? Or even better does anyone have a current snapshot of yearly retirements they could put up here, ideally covering the next 25 years? Thanks

After the June class, there were 3203 total IPA pilots on property.

Here are some retirement numbers from a list kept by a line pilot; worth noting the average retirement age the last number of years has been between 62 and 63 years old.

Also worth noting......the next three or four years retirement number would have been a lot higher if UPS didn't offer the early retirement option last year of which about 180ish of our pilots took.......doesn't help the new guys much, but worth noting that our percentage of retirements going forward is pretty much on par with the rest of the majors.
