Mandatory age 65 retirements per year (from the monthly senority list update on B&G). Looks like this bid covers retirements and shuffles the deck. Looks like the MD will be going away slower vs. faster.

I’m guessing that we may not see anyone junior to the current junior captain hold upgrade. There’s a significant number of bypassers. On the other hand, the junior captains of this bid may be junior for a long time. Which could make it unattractive.

I don’t know that this really preps the company to utilize the new aircraft. It shifts some bodies away from the MD, 74, and Bus toward the 75/76, but nowhere near what will be needed to fly them 4-5 legs a night.

Shocked only -16 CA off of the MD. Maybe not parking as many MD's as advertised in 2024? Thought it would be double that number.

Pleasantly surprised as well. 22 VTP and 16 this round. I am thinking the seasonal military charter will be back. By my count we will 146 Captains and 135 First Officers on the list after the displacement closes.
