Newhire classes start "late May".

Sounds like any previous poolie who got 'drained' will get a call from HR in the coming week(s) to see if they are still interested in working for UPS.

Great news for the poolies. 👍👍

Are there enough poolies to fill the classes, or do you think some new applicants will attend class also? Make no mistake I'll gladly take a spot in a pool if I'm fortunate enough to get through the process successfully. Been waiting many years and it's exciting to see movement again. Congrats to the poolies.....

Seniority list pilots have zero visibility into the hiring process or the pool. There could be 5 guys in there or 500. I would expect the class in May to be exclusively current poolies, simply for lack of time to interview new applicants.

Has anyone with the recent change in hiring website had the "no longer in consideration" flip to "pending", possibly after getting an internal rec?

From what I understand Internal Recs are everything in the early stages. I know the last time I applied I got the TBNT within 24 hrs without any recs. This time I had 3 Internal recs and I am still pending, so fingers crossed. 🤞 Of course as always YMMV. Good luck to all applicants.

just checked this morning. Still no longer under consideration.. I have 2 internals but they put their recs in after I submitted the app. Guess I know what to do next window.

Can you "reapply" using a diff email address so you have your recs included. I think I read about this technique in the past but not sure how the new system works.

Just to clarify. Your “pilot referral” (rec letter) is done by the recommending UPS pilot through our EFK “Forms” tab of Comply365. That pilot referral form asks what the candidates email address is…the one the candidate used to apply. That is how the pilot referral gets attached to the applicant application. So make sure they are the same. And since the application is now through the “workday” website, the system can only match applicant to recommending pilot referral form through matching emails input on both.
