I don't believe anything she says. Apparently people living in 31 states didn't believe her either.

Yeah but California voted for her.

Is there a PAC where I can donate money to help Cali secede from the US? They want it, the rest of us want it. Sounds like a win-win.

They can move the capitol to Berkeley. Clinton and Pelosi can be the co-Lezbeon's in Chief. No guns. Free Weed for everyone. They can call the new place Utopia. Kum-bai-yah will be the national anthem.

And, of course, no walls.

CA is only allowed to secede if the regions (like NorCal) are allowed to leave CA like theyve been trying to do for years.

Oh, and cut off from the power grid, all water from NV and AZ are cut off, all federal dollars are cutoff, all military/govt spending is pulled, etc etc.

Good luck!

But I know...lots of guys who pound their chest saying they are just an employee being screwed by management (which is true) but when you out-earn 95% of other workers in the worlds wealthiest nation, your plea falls on deaf ears.

Sorry guys..just the messenger.
The only thing I can think is... duh.

CA contributes more money to the federal government than it receives. Someone has to pay for all the moocher red states, and it for the most part is blue states.

Start saving your pennies Boys/girls. Bannon is all set to take the US to war with China over a perceived land grab. (Apparently this is only ok if it's Russia). Trump has demoted the joint chiefs and intel heads from the NSC so they aren't part of the daily briefing, leaving Bannon to issue the advice because, you know, he was once a naval officer.

If China goes, those of you on the bottom half of the list are going to be out on the street. Good luck!! You guys are going back and forth about Hillary and California and weed, while some truly terrifying events are unfolding under your noses.

Whether or not you are correct in your specific (ie China) you understand the overarching situation. While politics have always affected decisions/thinking of leaders across the world we seem to have moved to that surreal level where politics and purity of idealogy are the predominate factors.(think political officers)
In my opinion Trump/Bannon etal are a sympton of a much deeper cancer.
Largely due to that we, and mankind in general, are in very serious trouble.
I hope that I am wrong.

If this is true then why does the alt-left always freak and riot when Republicans want to shrink the federal government spending? Those in Berkeley can keep more of their tax dollars to buy pot and rioting equipment and not have to pay for the "red moocher states" like North Dakota and Alaska which are the "least dependent" on the federal government. Alaska has so much money it gives its citizens a stipend every year. Cool story though.

They said the same thing about Reagan/Bush that they were elected that they were going to start WWIII. Instead they won the Cold War and the USSR ceased to exist, like my former airline does now.

Seriously? You don't know? Did ALPA brief you about why they were approved? If not, why not? The information as to why was published in a lot of media.

So here is the very short 'Readers Digest' version:

The Open Skies Treaty allows for either side to request arbitration in disputes. Last summer the European Union had filed for arbitration in the matter. The attorneys for the U.S. Department of Transportation, after reviewing the matter, determined they had no legal grounds in which to deny the NAI permit and would in all likelihood lose the arbitration case. It was at that point the DOT finally issued the permit to NAI.

Incidentally the lead U.S. negotiator for the Open Skies Treaty has also stated that it is his opinion there is zero legal basis for denying NAI.

Wonder why ALPA, in its desire to make sure its members are fully informed on the issues, did not feel the need to make sure its members were informed of the legal opinions from the parties involved...
