and picking up a trip? I recall seeing the email a few weeks ago, but I can't find it in my inbox to save my life.

My buddy Dave tried to explain it to me but I need to see it to really understand it. The gist of what I recall is that the closer the MPG, PTC, and Line Value are, the less likely you will be working for "free".

For instance, in this month of Jan '17, I have a LV of 54:09 from two trips. My PTC is 53:05, and MPG is 51:20. I have 9 days of vacation (9 x 3.25 = 29.25 hrs of Add Pay).

In this case, if I were to pick up a trip, am I working for free for 1:04 (LV of 54:09 - PTC of 53:05) or 2:49 (LV of 54:09 - MPG of 51:20)? Or do I have it all jacked up and is it the difference between MPG and PTC???

If anyone can answer this and/or provide a copy of the MEC email, I'll owe ya a beer if we ever have a layover!

Your LV already exceeds MPG, you won't be working for free. The issue arises when LV is less than MPG.

Like Terrain Inop said, you are good to go. Only problem is getting crew companion to trade. It comes up with a Code 152 Time Conflict because you have VAC on your calende. Solution? I don know. Maybe call scheduling or Real time trip trade?
