Why do you rant about the obvious? Boeing would not make the airplane if it weren't for those who were convinced it was worth buying in spite of its flaws.

We just fly them, we didn't order them and if you don't want to fly them at UAL there are other fleets and seats to bid.
Doesn't change the fact that it is an antiquated POS

It is the airplane that only an accountant can love...

Captain solo was in a 1955 B707. That trim wheel is still spinning in the NGs. Advice to new hires: airbus first and airbus as long as you can.

The Telex 850's noise canceling is a joke.

Bose and DC are both good options.

I'd agree that about 50% of pilots on the guppy have them. It makes for a great trip when you cancel out all the noise get to talk over the intercom.

I'm thinking about buying a second set just to show the "non-believers" how good it is.

Not to mention its KILLING my back because I can't stretch out. Probably going to get a DVT clot because there is no room to put my feet into a more horizontal position. Unfrozen soon thank god!!

Because line pilots don't buy the airplanes, the bean counters do.

Brilliant deduction Holmes....Still doesn't excuse Boeing from producing this lemon.
