I know more than a few guys that retired in the 06-08 time frame, then went to the regionals until the hiring wave kicked off. No offense AMR but you don’t really know much of whom you speak. RJs and the lost decade had a ripple effect across the entire industry.

As a current mil guy, I will not vote for any agreement that adds 1 more seat of RJ flying beyond what's already in the UPA. Every mil guy I fly with says the same. Don't worry about the mil guys, we got your back.

why on earth would we do that?! I expect management to act like management...I'm just happy when they do a competent job of it. Kirby understands how to make this airline competitive in the long run...that's good. Of course he'd like to get us, or anyone else, to fly his jets at cut rate wages...it's our job to keep that from happening. If we keep strong and unified, Kirby will be a very good thing for our airline.
