To answer the question . . .

The 777-300's were acquired by giving up 787 slots. The 787 slots were UAL 787 slots. The 777-300's are being flown by L-UAL FA's. The EWR L-CAL FA's are hot under the collar 'cuz the planes are flying out of EWR.

Like I said . . . bad Juju.
Hot under the collar? I don't dare ask sUA FA's based at LAX or SFO how's their flying going. Their uniform response is "away."

This isn't about unity. This is about absurdity.

The l-Cal fa's not working certain planes & vice versa is the crap that needs to gtfo.

I couldn't agree more but you or I have no control over either issue. The F/A issue will get resolved when OM does his job.

As far as the aircraft N number, tell me the N number of the 727 placed in the Boeing Museum. I'm proud of that and all the United people that showed at both ends of it's final flight. We share a history. How do identify the first 787 delivered without looking it up - it's a pride issue.

World's first 727 makes final flight after 25-year restoration

Now that we have brand X wings, uniforms, and high visibility vests with a bullseye on the back, why not planes.
The high visibility vests that are required due mostly to the efforts of one line pilot? Just goes to show b!tching on APC or the other board doesn't change things. Why not write a resolution for your next LEC meeting expressing the need to keep the UA tail number in the future?

I too was disappointed that the new planes are "Just a number." Planes do have personality. But...I just work here now.

There is a history and lore in this company. Those now in charge seem bent on obliterating what once was. The UA N number is just another in a long line of corporate decisions.

NXXXUA....

That's only 999 airframes, if you reserved all the UA numbers, which they didn't. Why is UAL always the last ones in the industry to figure out reality?

Wouldn't that be NxxxxUA? They just put N7001UA in the Boeing museum. That's about 9,999 airframes counting the ones already used.

That's N7001U.

We realize you have a Multiple Personality Disorder, but is any of them a real pilot? You don't seem to know much about Aviation.
