I have a contract ready so that if my wife is in the mood all I have to do is have her sign and notorize it. It takes time, but I know I'm legal to proceed with the deed

With regard to logbooks, is there anything we should be logging besides what's required on airlineapps? (things like xc, ifr, etc)

If it isn't required on the app then you are good. Don't think too much into it.

No interviews over the summer to keep people flying the line. Things will pick back up in the fall, from what I understand.

What are the chances of being super young, hired at minimums with only 135 experience and a degree? Playing the devils advocate.

Probably about the same chances as getting on at the regionals with the same experience. I have no idea what is competitive now but probably around 5000 total, 2500 jpic.

Unusual, but not impossible. Too bad you didn't intern with United while you were in college; that would give you a lot better chance to get hired with that profile.

United has a typical pilot profile that they're looking for, but they also take a few from outside that profile.

Make sure you get an interview prep service to check over your application. You don't want any errors on the app.

Default 2017 status

Last I heard for the year to date:

About 250 new hires and 60 returnees, for a little over 300 pilots.

About 180 in the pool.

No new hire basic indoc over the summer.

New hire indoc dates currently scheduled:
7 Nov
28 Nov
5 Dec.
