Thanks for opening my eyes to my wrong doings.
PS....The 756 has 100s of changes, on what seems like a weekly basis, that must be read in the FM due to all the different variants we have. So If I were you I would avoid bidding that aircraft.

yeah **** that I'm not going to read my FM and FOM revisions anymore!!! And bulletins those are a waste of time.....and don't even get me started on flight planning for an hour and a half off the clock.
Thanks for opening my eyes to my wrong doings.

The real issue is safety and training vs. training by proxy and on the cheap. We've seen this before, and management has gotten away with it. No accidents, it must be safe. After all, NASA and the space shuttle got away with it, for a while...
PDR it, write FSAP's as unsafe.

Well, we could develop a training course at TK, then we could hire trainers and get them proficient. Then, we could send all the trainers out to each domicile. Line Holders would either get 5 hours pay for a special class or a paid trip drop. Reserves would get scheduled on a day off. IT could develop a special training module that would simulate the changes in the FMGC. For those not comfortable with the training, they could arrange a paid trip to TK for an hour of hands on simulator time.
Or, we can just spend about 5 minutes reading the differences (which are very minor).
