New Hire Class Dates Apr-Aug

What you probably mean is how quickly will the company place people junior to you in your BES(Base, Equipment, Seat) .
I was hired in December, and have been on line for two months. I'm about halfway up the list of reserve 737 pilots in EWR. Today, I'd hold a line on the 737 in LAX or SFO, be roughly the same seniority on the bus in LAX or SFO, be able to hold, but significantly more junior on the 756 in SFO, the 737 in DCA or ORD, or the 756 in EWR, and I am not yet able to hold any other BES in the company.
Going forward, based on the forecasts from planning quoted in the thread above, I would not expect my relative seniority on the airbus to change anytime soon. I think I may hold a line in EWR in just a few months. I would not expect to hold a line in ORD or DCA before next year, and would not expect to hold a 756 line for perhaps two years. I think I would be able to hold 737 IAH as a junior reserve in the next few months, but would not expect any other BES to open up within the year.

It depends on what you mean by junior. The absolute most junior base is whatever the Ball in your class ends up with.

I expect to spend some time in NY, of course, but the sooner I can get to DC the better.

Thanks Rob. I am wanting to move to a domicile (improved QOL), and was thinking Washington DC area. I was curious how long one could expect before getting that base. Likely will be -73 fleet.
