"Frank Lorenzo, who built the platform for Bethune's success at Continental"

I suppose this is true, just like an assailant who stabs someone 'builds a platform' for a surgeon to operate.

It's not even that close.
Frank left Continental and soon it was days from liqudation. It was as bad as it could get. It was a race to the bank on pay day cause some of the checks were gonna bounce. I am not for these hedge fund guys Gordon is with now but he truly turned the place into a success. Frank had nothing to do with it.

Reminds me of when Bill Clinton said one of his great accomplishments was taking Arkansas from 50th in education to 49th. You don't get to claim victory when the only place to go was up.

Dude looks like a corpse. Perhaps getting a DWI with a Trannie escort in passenger seat really got to him. Well I'm sure they are firing up the furnaces for you in Hades Frankie.

No, at least Clinton could say there was improvement. Frankie took struggling companies, drained them of cash and assets, then left them either dead (Eastern) or dying (Continental). There's so much wrong with the interview that it's beyond my ability to comment other than to say the writer is guilty of journalistic malpractice for playing along.
