I'm sorry you think ALPA runs UAL, but the facts don't make that true. Yes pilots who are organized and work together have a huge influence on where this Company goes, but it is the banks and debtors who run UAL. Additionally at one time it was a Hedge fund which steered the process and made the ESOP happen in the day. I believe their name was Coniston something.
The merger was a bank/finance deal and if you want to see where UAL will go, follow the money.
As far as OM goes all he has to do to make Jeff look like a fool is speak kindly about his fellow employees at UAL (yes he's an employee too). Jeff set a very low bar.

Yes, like I've said before they all would rather go for the 'pig-in-the-poke' than the wolf at the door. I still don't think the mechanics, AFA or the IAM have ratified a contract -YET!
During the contract extension you inferred than anyone who was voting yes was a company shill and anti-ALPA. Of course you were on the losing side of an 80/20 split.
No just guys like yourself, Probe and Jsled that come on a public forum pushing hard for the contract extension just for the money. Leaving many issues to be corrected by side-letters and MOU without the input of the rank-in-file.
Now ALPA has come out in support of OM, yet you still make up lies and produce wildly insane and unstable theories.
No, just like a majority on this board, I'm just trying to figure out why and how a man,who's only been on the property 7 months and actually running the airline for less than 3 should be put up for sainthood. He's a GB man. Gordo put him on the board and just recently said when he and the outsiders taking over the board will not replace OM. Gordo has also said JS was a good CEO - so, we can guess at his motives or maybe Gordo just has poor skills of selecting management talent.
So I guess that makes YOU the one that's anti-ALPA.
My ALPA card is bigger than your's if that's the contest you want to get into. I do think that JH was looking for a legacy while walking out the door. We'll eventually see where that took him.
I can count on 1 finger the number of people on this board that don't think you're clinically insane. And he will respond to this post in 3.....2.....1.
There you go with the insults again. If you are having some kind of contest, I think many would agree that name calling and petty insults are negative points or an out-an-out lose.

He's been showing his true colors by his and his underlings actions all of which you have chosen to ignore, minimize and/or dismiss. I like what he is doing and the early results.
You don't seem to realize that if the shareholders get organized in a proxy battle that they actually can control who is elected as directors. You are making illogical assumptions to support your ridiculous previous assertions (i.e. faked heart attacks).

OM and the current board continued putting United in a poor position (put United in Play ) after the JS buffoonery with the merger. You may think the outsiders will be ok but believe me they care about one thing and that is MONEY. That's the position I've always taken - I have a feeling that it is and will become more a fact going forward.
Keep talking fake heart attack - it's amusing at this point.
