No, I took the money but did not fall for the love fest. I still don't think he's done anything of substance. Just more lip service and whitewash. Without the outsiders at the door OM would likely not be talking/worrying about contracts.

If nothing else we should applaud the GB group for lighting the fire under OM.
I still don't see anything other than OM protecting himself and the board from the outsiders. It's stil not about rebuilding a strong employee airline - OM is just loading it up with debt to keep the WOLF outside HIS house.

Only you would be thick enough to applaud GB for these shenanigans. See you on the picket line in BOS? Thought not.

In seven months under Munoz the pilots and dispatchers have overwhelmingly approved contract extensions and the IAM has TAs for its seven groups nine months before the amendable date. These deals cover over half the employees. United has gone to the top of the DOT rankings with Delta and financial performance has improved substantially, closing on Delta. United has also added 4 777-300s, 5 787-9s & 65 737-700s near term orders at discounts up to 75% off the list prices.

According to your logic - the merger is not complete - so, anything good happening at United is attributed to JS and not OM.
