Show a little respect?! Coming from you????? That's hysterical.
I will know who you are finally at the next town hall meeting when some pilot has his "Marco Rubio stole my girlfriend" what? moment while Oscar is speaking. It's the only thing that explains your hard over on a guy you had never heard of 6 months ago. Go read what the head of the AFA is saying about OM. And yes, that's the group WITHOUT a contract.
I'd be willing to bet it's more of the devil they know vs the devil they don't.
Lastly, you look tiny on that high horse of yours with your condescending BS about the pilot/mechanic relationship. I have NEVER met a pilot here who didn't respect the he// out of our machinists and the job they do for us. The only lack of respect I see around here is from you.
Aren't you one of the pilots that jumped triple7 because he come on the forum in search of information and maybe expressing an opinion that may not align with your's. My take was that he tried to understand why we got a 13% raise and the mechanics were hit with a 2 by 4. I didn't see any disrespect from his writings. Instead, I saw you and several others attack. Like I said show a little respect, extend a hand to a mechanic and don't be afraid you'll get your hand dirty from the grease.

Several posters were pointing out that all employees' prospects would be better if Munoz/Meyer win the BOD battle. triple7 falsely equated that to pilots not caring about our fellow employees. We all understand that all the employees need to get the JCBAs we deserve if United is going to prosper.

UAL has been closing the gap financially since Munoz took over and operationally United is running neck and neck with Delta and beating SWA & AAL. that can be more contributed to JS leaving than OM doing something of substance.
It was held on Monday 3/14/16. wasn't that a meeting more for OM to gain/show support from the labor groups than an actual summit to fix things. Dog and Pony show for the shareholders.
Munoz was personally involved in the negotiation via telephone.BS It was approved by 79% of pilots. The dispatcher contract extension was approved by 91% of them. In the pilots case, it was just kicking the can down the road. Dispatchers - don't know! ALPA, AFA & IAM publicly support Munoz. They'd likely support JS if an outside group was threatening the company and JS was heading the company. The Teamsters are neutral.
As usual your assertions are simply not based on reality.

Wrong again.

If triple7 expressed that opinion then many among his ranks are probably feeling that way. Why not explain your opinion instead of beating the guy up and singing the OM praise at the same time.
I'd bet you are one of the ones that won't shake the hand of a mechanic for fear of getting your hand dirty.

What I understand is that you claimed Oscar Munoz faked a heart attack. Such demonstrably incorrectness is typical of your posts from what I have seen.
