Default NRT Hilton Discount? What about KIX?

Anyone have experience with non-rev hotel discounts at either NRT Hilton or KIX crew hotel? Also, if you've non-rev'd out of KIX to SFO any tips/tricks at the ticket counter and customs? They issue a boarding pass at ticket counter and get seats at the gate? Any tips appreciated.

The crew hotel in NRT is the Excel Tokyu. They provide a good discount if you show your ID. As for tickets, I've had them issue me a seat at the ticket counter when the flight is wide open, but generally they'll give you a standby ticket to clear immigration and security, and you'll get your seat assignment at the gate. They don't have the screens at the gate so sit close enough that you can hear them when they start calling up standbys. Good luck!

The NRT Hilton is a good deal, call and make a reservation, tell them you're crew and show your ID at check-in. The rate I paid a year ago was around 7500 yen and there is a restriction that you can only reserve 1 room at the crew rate.

Non-revved out of NRT a month ago. Use the United app on your phone(s) to check in and get your boarding pass before you leave free wifi at the hotel and you can skip the ticket counter all together. They'll call your name at the gate to issue your boarding pass or use the free wifi to get updated boarding passes.

Cool thanks... That's an awesome deal... 25% off rack rate. I take it you call hotel directly and ask for reservations and/or front desk?

You can do a walk-up as well.

Thanks all... I booked a triple room for 14K at the United rate via email direct to hotel... Still a great deal. I'll remember the walk up if I get stuck.
