Default Is my 2015 W2 Wrong?

I just downloaded my 2015 W2 from Skynet. When I looked at the box with wages, Tips it is about $10k less than my last paycheck advice for 2015 Year to date (YTD) earnings. What's going on?

Profit sharing from last year? That was my speculation anyway because I had the same thing.

Depending upon which box you are looking at, you will see wide disparities.

remember to deduct out any PRAP contributions you made during the year from your "earnings" as those are deducted from earnings when it comes to your W-2 wages.

if you look about 3/4 of the way down your 12-16 paycheck, there should be a line for YTD and a heading of "Fed Taxable Gross". If that number is different than your W-2 , then I think something is amiss.

Where do you go to print off your W2?

That's about right. You have reportable income that was taxable. If you look at your final paycheck advice you have nontaxable section such as per diem, etc...

Now, I do not know if profit sharing is based off of Total Gross, which would be the paycheck advice. I believe it is, less the profit sharing check from last year.

I think the pilot ADVANCE is actually a deduction on your last check of the year. It could be off that much if you are a Captain.
