Have you flown it?

Very good news!
SFO has had a couple of day trips pop up in 737 open time this week:

DH SFO-SEA
LIMO SEA-BFI
FLY BFI-SEA
DH SEA-SFO

Looks like new birds to me.

They want wall street to believe they are practicing "capacity discipline".

Yes that was one of the 2 737-900ER's that were already planned. There was one delivered yesterday and one more coming in Feb.

PS. Apparently those are now being flown by regular line pilots, so if you thought you could pick that up and be displaced, that isn't necessarily the case anymore! Heads up on future delivery flights!!

I think in the last 10 days I have read 5 different scathing articles about United, Continental, and the new United.

Shiny new jets don't make money, well run businesses do. We are not a well run business. High revenue and cheap gas are masking our inability to operate. The cheap gas only helps short term. Long term, the low cost carriers grow, and new ones lease old jets for pennies on the dollar.

I never ends well.

Hopefully OM will get healthy and be our Knight in Shining Armor.

Enjoy your profit sharing check, and 13% pay raise. You might want to skip the new pool and Porsche until we see how long the money lasts.
