Base Trade IAH-SFO 320 FO

Its going to cause exactly NO changes. The existence of the training center either way has no baring on the staffing of a base. The only change that might be seen is instructors coming back to the line in IAH instead of following the job to DEN.

Not sure if this is only how a few see it or not.

That's exactly what I'm referring to. Some have said (even IAH instructors), that all may have to re-interview for the DEN instructor positions and that the animosity between the different groups may cause too many issues in either getting the new position or simply that they don't won't to deal with it.

I asked and was told they can't fly the airplane so they can't be instructors. I pointed out that there isn't any prohibition to them flying it, just after we get to bid it. Sort of like a 777 standard Captain who can't hold it, but still is in that position.
Turns out shortly after they refused every single LUAL pilot many of them got it awarded on a bid, proving my point.
So when someone cries they got treated the same, I don't have sympathy for them. That's what happens when you have leverage, and use it poorly.
