Your gloating is tiresome and self serving. You're ONE guy in ONE base. And, most importantly, that base is currently hideously overstaffed. What about the rest of your fellow reserve maggots? Will you be so giddy when the tide changes and you're the one getting rolled on half of your days off? Will you post so gleefully when you get bumped and commute to reserve duty? As you well know, he pieces move a lot in this game. Perhaps you might want to take the wide angle view and consider those inhaling beyond your olfactory. I've spent a ton to time on reserve, on both the good side and the bad. Its not always so easy and stress free.
As it now stands, you have the bull by the twins. Congrats. Not all are so lucky or will remain so. I hope the remainder of your career is equally gilded.
And I hope the Pats kick the Broncos a$$es.

Humorous to be sure. But primarily your post is just snarky and condescending. When there's an issue of the contract which you feel could be improved upon, please post up and allow your fellow pilots to pillory it and ridicule you.

The FSB system is unacceptable.
There needs to be add pay associated with it if they don't fly you.
Driving to the airport to sit for four hours for no pay is UNSAT.
depending on where you live you could end up four hours on the road, plus four hours at the airport for an 8 hour day for no pay. seriously.....this AFU.
If they fly you, you'll at least get a five hour minimum associated to your line value. That's something. I would say 2 hours of add pay is fair for the pilot if they don't fly you.

Disclaimer: Only have been an airline pilot 2-3 years.
FSB and SC Conversion need to be metric driven and transparent. The metric needs to be agreed to by Company and Alpa and monitored by System Schedule Committee. All Unused FSB need to be paid, but doing that could change the priority of calling out FSBs over short calls. OK with me but others can weigh in. All SC after 2 need to be paid, voluntary conversions or company conversion.
Sounds like a perfect job for our new MEC/NC. This could be done by an LOA. Along with Current Contract Enforcement and LCAL LTD refund issues, this will tell us if we should have trusted these folks getting elected this week to handle a full Section 6, and set expectations for when they do.
