Yep, I think I will buy a new ski-condo up at Tahoe with my "chump change".

Please send us a photo of that "new ski-condo" and where it is located in "Tahoe."

This is the third time in less than a year that the company has tried to get reliable FDP extensions and the second time they have tried to fix their FRMS problem in nine months. They also got FRMS carte blanc from the LCAL F/As in return for profit sharing a few months ago, and they have the 787s that can profitably service these lucrative point to point international markets. But, "This corporation will not put it back on the table for several years."

Management wishes all, or at least 50.1%, of their union members thought like you.

72% yes. 28% no. Even the hard core "Hoffa" UAL forum is at 48% yes. Man...I'm gonna go ahead and schedule that new pool for summer!

"Hoffa UAL forum"? Yet another airline pilot who obviously doesn't have a clue about unionism, but benefits from it nonetheless. Enjoy the 13%, 0% & 3% pay raises.

Unionism. You mean like the widebody Captain with less than 2 yrs left who said he's voting against it because the whole contract needs to be fixed?

I ignored it because I'm not debating you. Vote however you want and proselytize away.

I just didn't want any new hires to think they had furlough protection based on your misstatement (aka mostly right).

All the TA does is change the "trigger" to all pilots currently on the list and not just the pilots on the list at the time of the UPA.

Is this an improvement? Yes.

Is this a no-furlough clause? No.

Carry on.
I would bet that almost every furloughed major airline pilot in the last 20 years was protected by a "no furlough" clause.

They mean nothing.
