Default mobile phone question

Do we get a discount with T Mobile? Is that the service we use for the data plan on the I Pad? If so, anyone use it? happy/sad? Do you like them?

Discount yes. iPad yes. I don't use them for my personal cell (Verizon).

The discount on Skynet is outdated. We used to get that and the folks that applied that discount a couple of years ago still get it. T-Mobile doest offer it anymore. The only discount they offer now is $25 off of a new device if you apply the UAL discount code.

Wow, really? Figures Skynet is out of date.

Since I use Verizon and still have an old corporate discount from before, unsure what they offer. But I do know AT&T offers 15% (if I remember right - might be 18%) off the data portion of their mobile share plan. EDIT: Just checked. AT&T offers a 22% discount.

OP, I know that's not what you're asking (sorry for the thread drift I started), but T Mobile seemingly did away with all new corporate discounts starting in 2014.

Verizon is 25%. I'm grandfathered in the unlimited, but they still recognize the UniCal discount.

Don't waste your time with t mobile. Discount offered was no where near close to what they advertise. Internationally it's nice for all the data and text your heart desires but domestically it sucks if you live anywhere outside of a major city.
And that unlimited data....yeah doesn't apply everywhere. You get 50 KB, read that again...KB of data. I did one drive outside of town using Gps and my "roaming" data was gone in about 20 minutes. And it's not like I'm in the boonies either.
I've had Verizon Other than that short few month stint at t mobile, Verizon works amazing. Using Skype for calling internationally. Using the company iPad for Internet if needed but most places have wifi.
