Don't forget all the displaced 737 Captains that went to the 787 right seat.

If you use the 20% gouge for the total number of pilots on reserve, anyone senior to 8800 on the seniority list should be a line holder in SFO 787 FO after the bid closes as there are already 44 guys junior to that assigned to the fleet.

and anyone senior to about 2390 would hold a line in SFO 787 CAP with the same 20% buffer.

Those numbers could make for some interesting movement out West!

I will bet not one of the captains on this 787 bid will be less than 2000 now that it is open to all. However I have been wrong before.

I think the real shock is coming to those who thought they would be line holders in SFO and now will be commuting to reserve.

As few widebody Captain bids there are I believe you're correct.

With the same speed and efficiency they publish the FO lines.

Your so lucky you've never had to fly with an ex con capt, they do things SOP, talk about their families, read newspapers, go out to dinner, have beers, hang out have fun, it's terrible........ Don't go bid another airplane that pays more with more days off either, stay hidden where you are, good call!

Take it easy skippy. I just have not had the pleasure to fly with an ex-Con Capt. Not a preference. Now since I've upgraded, it appears I won't get the opportunity...at least until the next crisis/furlough/downgrade. As for the Scabwagon, no thanks. I'll let some of those '83 heroes retire first. Flying with scabs gives me a poor outlook on life.
