"SFO 787 CA list just got crazy."
No it didn't get "crazy" at all. What happened is the real seniority is coming out now that the fence is down. You might also notice how many SFO 777 Captains are bailing. Why? Because the flying is moving to the 787.
I can almost guarantee the readers of this blog LAX will go the same way.
For those currently on the 787 fleet and near the G line, I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted and you aren't commuting. Short call on reserve is well documented on this blog as well as others.
Because at least three of the top ten Captains are DEN - SFO commuters right now, that DEN - NRT trip will be going bye-bye for some.

You may be right, but the DEN NRT is mentioned in the feet plan but there's no indication which base will fly it. The only reason to keep it with IAH would be an overstaffing of 787 pilots in IAH as they move previous 787 flying to the 767, as mentioned in the update.
The Res listings don't show what base will fly stuff, just what the airplane is.
Oh well SFO is getting a lot of great very long haul flying!

787
Staffing on the 787 will continue to increase throughout the fall/winter of 2015/2016 to match aircraft deliveries. Once the 25th airplane is delivered to United, pre-merger legacy UAL pilots will be able to be awarded vacancies on this fleet type; we now anticipate this delivery happening in late November 2015. 30 airplanes are planned to be on property by July 2016.
With the recently announced redeployment, 787 staffing will primarily be located in SFO, LAX, and IAH. We do not anticipate opening any new bases at this time.
SFO – The flying will increase almost threefold by next summer, and will require us to accordingly staff the operations. With the new strategy recently announced, we anticipate the flying to be a mix of current markets (CTU, HND, ICN, KIX, PVG, SYD, TPE), and potential new destinations. Service may be seasonal, have a day-of-week frequency or be daily on each destination. Plans are always subject to change, however, as dictated by the operational environment.
LAX – The flying and staffing increase in LAX is more modest, with a 60 percent increase versus this summer, and the fleet adding LHR and SYD to its destinations. You will also continue to see vacancies there.
IAH – The previously announced counter-cyclical markets are going away with the summer 2016 season. We anticipate the flying there to be similar in scope to what was experienced this summer, with LHR, LOS, and the two bridges to DEN and SFO. With the long-term strategy announced, this also means we do not anticipate these markets to come back in the near- to medium-term future. While we are correctly staffed on the captain seat, the overstaffing on the first officer seat is of concern at this time.
The discussion that IAH would have both of the domestic routes (out and back to DEN and out and back to SFO) makes it seem likely that they would have DEN-NRT as well.
May have been something more definitive in the SSC documents.
