Next vacancy bid???

(Short version: there is not a freeze if you move UP an aircraft category. Example: 737 to 756 or 756 to 777.)

Unless you do a lateral move (ie 737 FO to 320 FO). Then you're frozen for two years. The only exception is an upgrade in the same equipment then (ie 320 FO to 320 CA after the aforementioned lateral move).

Don't let the negativity, of which I can spew, get you. Think of it as creative discussion. I can assure you from the past decades at United, we can have our differences but we all (except for scabs) get along.

There is a difference between the MIN and current number of pilots of 63 pilots. So unless they change their minds, there aren't going to be backfills in that BES.

True to a point. If the staffing drops below the published MIN the backfills WILL be shown on the snapshot, but only up to the min number published. Any backfills that are filled above the MIN number will NOT be published on snapshots.

Some fun numbers from this Vacancy Bid.
The snapshot shows 517 newly awarded positions. There are also 214 Unfilled vacancies. That's 731 total potential awards, and the vacancy bulletin only showed 443 openings. That means there were 288 backfills.
