For me it's top pay that makes a "real" pilot's airplane.
One that has afterburner and a single seat.

Its all Ball Bearings nowadays and the E190s don't have them.

25 A319s from China and 17 A319 from Spirit, 8 737-900 , 6 787 and 10 777-300s

and all will be delivered within the next 14 months
66 additions with only 4 757s and 1 744 parked

That's 1500 more pilots needed for the above plus 415 retirements

Confirmed

Not sure who confirmed that for you. According to Spirits SEC filings found on their web page, they are returning 3 319s in 2016 and 4 319s in 2017.

Fantastic. That means we're growing the Airbus fleet by a third, while also adding 787, more guppys and the 777-300. Add in a NSNB order of 100 or so and we'll be at 15000 pilots. As it should have been all along.

Projections? Take any with a grain of salt.

Yet, guys are leaving in droves and seniority numbers will drop 800 numbers in the next 24 months and 1500 in the next 48. This total does not include guys losing their medicals, early outs etc. Widebody (augmented) planes are coming which will skew hiring up. Gas is cheap, profits are up and they have finally come to the conclusion that flying uncomfortable and inefficient 50 seat RJs into choked hubs is false economy.

Barring something heinous, UA and the rest will be hiring gangbusters for the next few years.
