Fifi vs Guppy for New Hires
#45
It depends. Sorry I know you didn't want to hear that but lines in the winter months have a lower credit range. So days off go up. Also some bases have a lower credit range to begin with that allows days off to increase also. It all depends on the productivity your juniority is capable of attaining in PBS bidding. If all you're getting are 20hr 4-days (no four day is <20)then expect fewer days off. If you can snag 24hrs + four days, your days off will increase quite a bit. The short answer is...
With the trip & duty rig and m5d, you'll get in the 15 days off ballpark. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Hope that helps but it really depends on your fleet and base.

Fifi vs Guppy for New Hires
The following is the line construction credit ranges for the bases you mentioned.
The first number is LPA(line production average)
The second is LCF (line construction floor)minimum
The third is LCC (line construction cap)maximum
DCA 320...80 72 88
DCA 737....75. 70. 80
EWR 320. 79. 71. 87
EWR 737. 82. 74. 90
ORD 320. 83.5. 77. 90
ORD 737. 83. 76. 90
DCA 737 has a lcc at 80 hours so you could deduce that you won't have to work as hard to reach the line construction cap but DCA might have very unproductive trips. It just depends and it varies from month to month.
Btw those numbers are from DEC '15
