Flying in SFO better on FiFi. But that could change. More variety on the Guppy, but better/less fatiguing trips on FiFi.
Seniority is better on the Guppy for now, but not by much. Of course ALLLL that can change on a dime. FiFi is a MUCH better place to spend time, and it would require about 25% better seniority for me to bid Guppy over FiFi. UNLESS you're talking reserve vs line, in which case I would take whichever would get me a line faster.....
Crews on both are great.

I had a stretch of 13 red eyes over 6 weeks this summer that 'bout did me in. I'd go to the bus if I had about 10% better senizzle just to fly with that bright orb in the sky again and get some vitamin D as I now look like Uncle Fester.

I've flown the uber guppy in IAH, EWR, LAX, and now SFO... EWR had the best trip mix. Got tired of every trip beginning or ending with trips across the gulf outta IAH, but being out west has been far more fatiguing than anything else I've done including Europe.

Actually thinking of switching over to the Bus in EWR from the 737. Currently about 65% on the 737 but would be about 25% on the Airbus. Flying won't be as good but I'll be able to get weekends and holidays off.

Yeah, its subjective, and things may change rapidly, but if you had your choice as a new hire today which fleet type would you sign on to?
Given a longish drive(~4 hours) to EWR for a commute would it make any difference in the choice?
Anyone care to hazard a WAG on time to hold a line on either fleet?

65% means 65% of the pilots in base and type are senior to you?
And 25% means only 25% are?
How far up is the cutoff for reserve? Is there a big difference between %age to hold a line on each type?
