Id guess this video was shot by a jumpseater honestly. There are tons of different small cameras out there that easily wouldnt be noticed it. Doesnt look like the CA noticed the camera ever. Plus, the music? Horrible taste. I doubt if that guy made this video, that would be music he chose. (Just a guess, but how many guys his age are into this kinda music???)

This is at least 2-3 years old. If you catch a glimpse of the RJs parked at the north side of DCA as they cross the threshold you'll see most of them facing the runway. In '12 or '13 Airways went to a pushback operation for that ramp so today those planes are pointed at the hangar. It's obvious to me the Captain made this. The camera is definitely stuck to the window. I don't know of anyone who jump seats regularly with the balls to ask a Captain to record their flying.

No, that's a guy who thinks he listens to cool music. I'm sure he found that fine music in his catalog between Enya and Yanni. I'm gonna guess he wears a gold necklace on his days off, hell, maybe even at work?

As far as the jumpseater theory. Even without the list of videos under his name, you're telling me you wouldn't notice a video camera/ phone that close to your head while flying?

And the jumpseater followed them around the system for two legs at a minimum? Doubtful...also its gotta be at least 4 years old considering it didn't have the PFD ND conversion yet. You can also clearly see the CAL FO in right seat giddy with excitement because he thought all those UAL guys were gonna get stapled soon. I think his name is Leonard.

Similar name on "the list." Wouldn't surprise me.

Far too steady for a handheld. It's gotta be a mounted GoPro.

I don't see that name on a scab list, so I wouldn't want to throw him under a bus. But what a dumbass. It just helps solidify the argument that cameras in the cockpit are not a distraction. Stuff like this makes them inevitable.
