If we start the 10th I'm assuming we will be done prior to thanks giving then prob have a little
Time off to start training at some point between thanks giving and Xmas

We'll finish basic indoc on the 20th. One of the emails I got said that we normally get at least 2 days off after indoc before starting aircraft-specific training. I was also told that training shuts down Thanksgiving day and Christmas day, but runs continuously otherwise.

For what it's worth.

sorry to laugh but last I checked there was no fuzzy feel good nature about your weekend and holiday. you are a cost to the company while in training, period. as a previous post said, business is 24/7 unless a designated holiday. training will start when training starts. i hope you get a few off but not because the company thinks it would be nice.

Based on my 777 schedule it appears they are giving half day on Wednesday (travel PM), full day on Thursday and half day on Friday (Travel) off… Don't think many PI and FTIs working on Friday after the holiday...
