Funny thing is Hoss, when something goes wrong on the line, the first call this hero is going to make is to ALPA. When he has a medical issue, he will eventually enlist the help of ALPA AEROMEDICAL. When he files an FSAP, his deidentified report is review by an ALPA MEMBER. Flight office calls him into the office, he's bringing in ALPA representation. As you know Hoss, the list goes on and on.

Tough little chest beater he is.

How does 1 thing said by 1 poster on an anonymous message board qualify as representing a 7,700 pilot group as being "prevalent"?

So does you calling us "clowns" mean that your entire pre-merger pilot group thinks that LUAL pilots are clowns?

Really setting the standard there aren't you? Rising above the pettiness? Living up to your demand of raising the bar?

Given the CAL culture it makes sense someone would find anything representing solidarity and unity, as silly. It's a mindset, not just paying your dues.

Mike,
I understand why you chose to respond in that manner. The comment you replied to was inflammatory and does not unify the pilots. Unfortunately, it's going to take some more time before the insults stop getting tossed about with regularity.

The responses to your post also did nothing to help defuse the friction between the two legacies. Did your post push buttons? Obviously, but consideration should have been given to the post that you quoted.

All the best,
Andy

Andy, you are a good man. A good representation of most that I have worked with that were former LUAL.

Thanks, but I'm no different than anyone else working here. I'm just ready for us to start moving on and having everyone, if not pulling the rope in the same direction, at least agree which direction we should be pulling the rope.

So for a prospective applicant, what would be a realistic timeline to a domicile towards the west coast? Thanks.
