Default TK Dog & Pony Show 5/6/15

Take aways:

TK future location to be announced early June after BOD meeting.

IAH 737 bump letters in late June or early July (no numbers given)

DEN 76T NPDM recently sent to ALPA SSC. If (lol) they close it it, it will be post summer flying. No dates given.

Typical song and dance didn't really answer any direct questions relative to pilot bases, seats, or equipment. Just general "Network" driven answers.

Surprised? Did anyone actually expect an epiphany, glimmer of leadership, or actual answers?

The only reason I could see going to one of these things is to observe, first hand, the "impassioned rant" of the IAH dude who blathered-on about nobody asked him (and his ilk). It's tough to imagine pilots like that exist and it would be fun to marvel at the spectacle. Of course it's not worth the effort so I'll have to be content with the online potshots.

The only way I'd go is if everyone attending met ahead of time and agreed to get up and walk out the instant it began.

Or, absent that we all began singing the song from Python when all the knights are dancing on the table, and are quite indefatigable.

Not surprised at all, hence the word "Typical"

I'd supply the beer for the after party.

Took my whole family to Spamalot the month it opened on Broadway. What a hoot. Kids still talk about it.

Do you really expect them to ever give any SEC type information to the line pilots that have not signed confidentiality agreements?

SEC info? of course not. Are displacement bids SEC info? I don't think so. The IAH CP told us about those in his update. Another NPDM in DEN? WOW. A yearly occurrence, but ARE THEY GOING TO CLOSE THE 76T BASE??....errr. maybe. The training center...decision by the end of 2014....errr. Make that early 2015....errr. after the BOD meeting in June.....errr...?????? What a clown show. I believe it has nothing to do with disclosing SEC info, it's their indecision and second guessing. SSDD. Been shaking my head for 18 years. 18 to go.
