Even if it's a new order, the planes are likely steeply discounted in order to keep the production lines full until the 777X starts production. Article: Analyst argues Boeing will be forced to slow 777 line starting in 2018 - Puget Sound Business Journal
All of these rumors are great to hear and hopefully will put a temporary end to furlough concerns.

The A350-1000 has basically the same dimensions as the 777-300er but is 30-35 tons lighter, with better efficiency and range.

The Hold-up as I heard it were the A.D notes and Mods to communize them with our own airplanes. These -232's have a lightly higher Max ZFW and Max Landing weight than our-231's and the ACARS, GPWS mode 5-7 with TAWS has yet to be installed.
The FAA CMO out of San Francisco seems to already be in the loop...
Now? There could BE more A319's for all I know but the A320-232's is what I heard and more than ONCE. And I'm particularly interested as I will be in the Group handling them on the TOMC Airbus desk. As Well as the A350.
